To commemorate the opening of Centre Pompidou Hanwha, we designed and produced a series of lighting objects for both the guest gifts and the opening ceremony. The project was inspired by the museum’s architectural concept, “Box of Light.” Each gift lighting object was designed as a token containing an individual light. During the opening ceremony, these objects were assembled into a large-scale lighting sculpture, collectively forming a single, unified light. By bringing together many small lights to create something greater, the project symbolizes the opening of Centre Pompidou Hanwha and the beginning of a new chapter.
